Holiday Event Toy Drives
Last year our organization was able to collect toys, family board and card games, and coloring books for our annual holiday event by conducting toy drives at various Jefferson County Walmart stores. The public responded overwhelmingly! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are unable to do that again this year.
Therefore, we are appealing to the public through social media to help us by donating these items to be distributed to Jefferson County foster children in December. Currently, there are over 675 children in foster care within the county. For many of our children, these are the only gifts they will receive this holiday season. We are completely dependent upon your generosity. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We are registered at three different locations: Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Any donations you can make are greatly appreciated!
Donations can be dropped off at 10279 Business 21 (rear of building), Hillsboro, MO 63050 on Wednesdays 9:30am to 2:00pm or call 636-310-1200 to make an appointment. Cash donations are always accepted.
Checks should be made out to: Jefferson County Foster Children’s Fund, PO Box 445, Hillsboro, MO 62050. We are a not-for-profit organization and have been granted tax exempt and deductible status under IRS and State 501 (c)(3).
While times have changed from last year due to COVID-19, we hope that the public’s response will be the same! We appreciated Walmart’s help with last year’s toy drive and look forward to a similar collaboration in the future!
